"There are a total of 14 mailwings in existence and six or seven flying today." This PA-5 was Harold Pitcairn's personal mailwing, is currently in the possesion of my brother David, an aeronautical engineer, and was featured in the 1932 movie "Central Airport". It is currently undgergoing extensive restoration back to its original and authentic state. The star of the film Blaze of Noon is a PA-7 mailwing on view at the Experimental Aircraft Association Museum at OshKosh, Wisconsin. Others can be seen at the Shannon Air Museum in Virginia, and the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum in Washington D.C.
