Dear Elizabeth

We have just arrived home from today’s Glencairn performance and Malachi is already konked out in bed. I just wanted to thank you for reaching out to him – he was thrilled to see you perform and happy you noticed him. The concert was AMAZING!  Was it the repertoire?  Or the intimate environment? Or the fact that there is something of ” home” for you there? Or the chemistry of three beautiful musicians? Truly it was one of the most moving and inspiring concerts I have ever heard. “Amazing” was Malachi’s choice of words to describe it – a high compliment from a 13 year old. I particularly was moved to tears by Chaconne. And Evan was equally inspiring, playing that cello with so much depth and love. What a fabulous trio you were.

Thank you for sharing with us and thank you for your work with the kids. For one young man it has been life changing.
