“Each of her cadenzas was achingly beautiful. In the first movement, she sharply executed several tricky double stops and exhibited some marvelous bow work. In the slow middle movement, her playing was sweetly lyrical, and throughout the final movement she was crisp and precise….Pitcairn interacted with the orchestra wonderfully, exchanging melodic lines with the various sections seamlessly.”
